Last Friday it was time again for an epic night: The BAD TASTE PARTY!!!!
Finally, the big day had come and the trainees could replace their usual uncomfortable business look with some of the cheesiest outfits their wardrobes offered. It was the chance to show our incredible feeling for the latest fashion looks on Luxembourg’s number one catwalk: the TROMBAR. An unbelievable amount of trainees took the bull by the horns to show their cheesy side to the world.
According to the motto “Stay Cool, Stay Ugly”, the outfit range was incredible: including
leggings in all kind of animal prints bringing the wild touch to the party, glittery tops that blinded your eyes and extraordinarly tight shorts, showing the most sexy legs our boys had to offer, are only some of the spectacular looks the Trainees’ latest summer collection entailed! The rule was: match your cloth according to no rules! The more neon shiny the colors the better, there can never be too much glitter, glamour and gold and more is always better; these were only some associations one got looking at the participants’ outfits.
In these incredible, comfortable outfits the trainees danced with no inhibitions at all and turned the night into day in bright colours, impossible pattern mixes and embarrassing shapes and partied harder than ever! Even the Court of Justice and Parliament Trainees could not stand away from this famous event and showed up in large numbers and even crazier fashion looks. And the outfit was not the limit: people showed their brightest makeup, fanciest hairstyles, and even beards got edgy trims.
For those whose wardrobes couldn’t hack the exquisite theme, the Party SC had a brilliant alternative: the glow in the dark body paint. Trainees could let their creative spirit free and go crazy, painting each other’s faces, arms and whatever else they wanted. Well, maybe not whatever they wanted in case “never have I ever” comes around again!
Finally, the last step to make this bad taste party a huge success was the delightful selection of the finest music from the 70s, 80s and 90s. This made the perfect mix to dance the night away and meet and mingle with fellow trainees from all institutions and beyond.
The Party SC wants to thank all participants for putting so much effort into their spectacular outfits and turning this event into the biggest Party so far.
Stay Cool, Stay Ugly,
on behalf of the Party SC
